woot woot said the owl

Ten minutes  before 1am and yes, I'm still up.I can hear the husband snoring and little boy coughing a little and me? Freezing my bottom  because the AC is facing the place where the computer sits. Can't hardly type, fingers are starting to stiffen. I'm not worried, frostbites   is unlikely to happen. I'm going to savor these time when no one is calling my name. That I cannot hear a tiny voice calling out to play, to get food from the fridge, to play with, to help him draw, to help him get his books buried under his play balls or under the pile of pillows (from the bed tossed with gusto on the floor and he'll start whining if you try to put it back where it belongs) to get him his milk, to change back the tv channel because he pressed the remote, or to just simply lie down with him on the bed while he drinks his milk.

Aaahhh, such peace! The only sound I hear is the fan inside the PC.

I'm not complaining though, I love the last part the most where we simply look each other eye to eye. He just wants me to be around. He fiddles with my collar (I'm wearing t-shirt at home so there's nothing interesting from a plain collar), he pokes my nose, I tickle him or try to teach him how to sing (that most of the time falls on deaf ears) or just do anything together. He wants Mama all to himself. No sharing, even with Papa.

My little boy is growing fast, way too fast right before my very eyes. He won't be doing this things always, they grow up (and did I say very fast?) and develop new habit, and before I know it, he'd prefer to be somewhere else away from me or in front of a PC. I am the center of his Universe,so for now, I'm holding on to these moments until he learns about science and the solar system.

He'll be turning 2 years old next month, where's the pause button? Or the feature to make him grow in slow motion?

I'm gonna miss that little guy when he's all grown up.

Male Enhancement

I'm sure it's not only me who gets spam emails about male enhancement. It also comes out in TV advertisements. It’s very ordinary these days that it has become like normal milk ads. You see them from time to time and you see posters everywhere. Maybe since this has become prevalent, there could really be a lot of people rather men  having these procedures or commonly referred to as male enhancement.

If you're ;one of these men you can try extenze. I read about it in one of my spam email, I was bored. You can imagine how bored I was then. Going through the mail, it mentioned about Tongkat-Ali, the same tree or ingredient that was mentioned in one of the ads in our local network. I bet there are hundreds of this related products in the market already. I'm not recommending this to anyone, just in case you're in the verge of trying one (or desperate) read about the products specially the faqs. One way of knowing the product better and compare to other products the benefits or the harm it'll do to you.

Jogging

We’re lethargic in waking up early in the morning. It would have been the best time to go and stretch our muscles after a night’s sleep and a good way to condition the body for the day. Five in the morning is the best time to be still sleeping and we cannot pass up to that just like most people. That’s why we do our jogging in the afternoon. We do not go to the gym, there’s just one place that we often. It’s a housing space but there’s not a single house build yet. We go there and it’s like you’re in the meadows with the freshest of air and birds birds and lots of birds that little boy loves watching. Yes, you’re right. We bring our little boy and his bike and his toy wagon. He loves it there and tries to imitate his Papa for a jog. The other day we also brought along our little dog Pupuh and boy, he had fun running. He’s a small dog and after few minutes of running with the husband, his tongue is already hanging almost reaching the ground. We might go there in the afternoon again and do my round with my little boy being pushed in his bike. I’d try to bring my camera next time for the action shots.

Car talk

Whenever being asked what kind of car I want for myself, my answer will always be a pickup truck. I love gardening and whenever I buy pots or garden soil, I can always load it up at the back and still have the space inside. A Chevrolet Silverado would do, LOL! How I wish! It’ll cost me a fortune and I don’t have a fortune…well I do, a fortune plant that is.

You might be wondering that all of a sudden I’m taking about cars. Normally, boys do that, it’s just that I  had a chat with my friend telling me that taking a cab in US is very expensive. I heard that a gazillion times that why it’s always better to have your own car. She have an SUV, she showed me the picture when she had it. However, the car is currently in Dallas auto repair shop having a brake job. Good thing she noticed that there was something wrong with it before she left the house.

I plan to go out and buy something but the sky is grey and heavy. I don’t have a car and if it rains, it’s gonna be a problem. I’ll just see later.

Goodbye Kentoy

It all happened in 2 days. No signs of illness or restlessness days before and what we thought was just a simple cough, turned out to be the cause of his passing away.

It’s not heart worm as the result was negative. Vet said that a chance of him to survive is very thin. He’s coughing out blood and had difficulty breathing. It’s either his kidney or the liver was swollen because his tummy was bloated. Shots were given and I was optimistic he’ll get better.

We got home, open the car door. He didn’t jump out. I carried him out and put him down before the gate. He walked going inside the house. While his water was being prepared with dextrose, he laid there looking out the living room. I talked to him that he’ll getter better and that I’ll be back later to bring his steroids. His tail was still swaying from left to right, he was listening. Kissed him goodbye and gave instructions of his meds to Edlin, the person taking care of them.

15 mins past, I got home and just in time for Edlin’s call that Kenshin is no longer moving. I drove back in haste.

Found him dead in the living room.

Never thought it was going to be my last kiss to him…my goodbye kiss.

Athina will be lonely though. She’s Kenshin’s sister and they’re both very very close.

I’m heartrending right now, he’ll no longer be around the next time I’ll visit, but I’m ok knowing that while he was still alive, he’s lived a good life.

Bye Kentoy.

I know you’re in heaven now, because they say “All Dogs Go to Heaven”.

Picture of the day

Took this picture in Croc Park and applied some presets. With my attempt,I was happy with the result. I need to read more tutorials on photo enhancement though. And sometimes, a good preset does everything but they are very expensive!Totally Rad presets are so great, but as I said, it is costly, very.

I'll just settle with the free ones I've downloaded, iIm totally ok with that. I'm no professional photographer to invest on something...well let me say, maybe not yet? LOL!

Who knows!

Beneficial Fish Oil

I was browsing the internet in my pursuit to weight lose, detoxification and living healthy, I came across fish oil. Oh yes, I definitely remember my mom having this fish oil soft gels inside her fridge when I was younger. I just can’t recall if we were forced to take them or not. . I commonly see this on alternative meds catalogs too, pharmacy and Chinese herbal stores nevertheless, don’t really know what benefits it gives to our body.

After doing a little research, fish oil and krill oil is in fact recommended for a healthy diet because it contains omega 3 fatty acids that helps regulate cholesterol level in the body. Aside from that, it also includes anti-inflammatory properties and other benefits.

Now cod liver oil is as good as fish oils and it does provide natural remedies such as increase of blood flow. It’s a bland-tasting liquid, but that was in the past as it is now available in soft gels.

Alright, I’m done with my little research and just in time for me to go to the grocery for food shopping and go to the pharmacy to buy fish oil for meself. Hopefully in the afternoon it won’t rain so I can again have my 30 minutes walking while little boy does his own version of exercise…run, run, run and more running.

New look...hopefully.

I’ve been doing touches on this blog, as you see the templates been changed. Wanting to change the header too but I don’t have a good picture to post in mind.  I’m not sure if we can customize the template for bravejournal just like blogspot. I’ll look it up again in youtube for the tutorials.
